Sermorelin, also known as GHRH, is a peptide analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone which is used as a diagnostic agent to assess growth hormone secretion for the purpose of diagnosing growth hormone deficiency.

GRF 1-29 NH2 stands for growth hormone–releasing factor, with the numbers indicating the amino acid chain that is responsible for the effect of sermorelin. Sermorelin works by promoting the secretion of human growth hormone (hGH) from the pituitary gland.
Treatment is through sub-cutaneous daily injections, typically in abdomen fat. The minimum treatment is three months however it is recommended to remain on the therapy for six months and assess quarterly.
